Your contribution to the American Red Cross helps make it possible for us to continue serving hundreds of thousands of families in this community. Responding to disasters such as hurricanes and tornadoes as well as providing a life-saving blood supply to hospitals are the things most people immediately consider when they think of the Red Cross. Donation Levels:

$1,000+ provides replacement clothing for two families of four.
$500 provides replacement of medical supplies, equipment and medication, and mental health counseling for a disaster victim.
$300 provides bedding supplies for two people.
$115 provides a week’s worth of groceries for a family of four.
$60 provides comfort kits containing essential toiletry items for 39 victims.
$50 provides formula and supplies for one infant.
$20 provides one family a Clean-up Kit to clean/disinfect their home.

Contributions to the Morgan-Lawrence Chapter of the American Red Cross, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Services Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes. The American Red Cross is not a government agency; our programs and services are made possible primarily through the generosity of individuals, businesses and foundations who give voluntary gifts of time and money. As the world’s largest volunteer organization, the Red Cross is able to stretch its resources even further and be the best possible steward of your gift.
